MARION, Ind. - No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball played their final non-conference game of the regular season on Thursday night as the hosted Trinity Christian in Luckey Arena. IWU scored the most points in a game since December 2020 in a 118-86 victory to move to 6-0 overall. Caedmon Bontrager led all scorers with a season-high 32 points on 14-16 from the field. Ten Wildcats saw minutes in the game with all ten scoring points.

WHAT HAPPENED

• Caedmon Bontrager led the Wildcats with 11 points through the first ten minutes to give IWU a 28-19 lead.
• Indiana Wesleyan shot 57% from the field and 40% from deep in the first period to take a 53-45 lead at halftime.
• A 14-4 run by the Wildcats early in the second half was highlighted by 9 points from freshman Peyton Bird.
• IWU reached the century mark with five minutes left in the game after a DJ Moore layup as they cruised on to victory.

• 66: IWU dominated inside with a 66 points in the paint.
• 32: The Wildcats dished out a season-high 32 assists, led by Griffin Kliewer with nine.
