Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

NO. 17 WOMEN'S SOCCER EARNS SECOND WIN IN A ROW OVER GRACE, 1-0

MARION, Ind. - No. 17 Women's soccer earned their second win in a row after a 1-0 win over Grace College. It was a low scoring affair full of defense and back and forth pressure but IWU held strong to pull out the win. The lone goal of the game came from Mackenzie Minney in the 73rd minute. The Wildcat defense pulled together to keep the Lancers shutout and Avery Sluss played a great game in goal. IWU continues league play this Saturday against Goshen.

SEIFFERT PERSPECTIVE

  • "I'm really proud of the way our team competed tonight," said Head Coach Daniel Seiffert. "It has been such a cool thing to see different players stepping up each game when called upon. Every single girl on this team is giving their all to whatever is needed and and asked of them and it makes it a complete joy to be a part of a group who genuinely love each other and love competing for each other."
