SPRING ARBOR, MI. - No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball earned a hard fought sweep of Spring Arbor on Saturday. The Wildcats picked up the sweep despite all the sets being decided by seven points or less.

MATCH VITALS

• SAU held a 1 point lead at 10-9 before an 11-3 run form Indiana Wesleyan gave them control of the set. A 6-2 run from the Cougars pulled the home team within 3 points, but kills from Marissa Mullins and Eva Joldersma gave IWU a 25-20 win.
• With Spring Arbor holding a 7-6 lead, the Wildcats went on a 9-0 run and took a 15-7 lead. IWU held on the rest of the way for a 25-18 win.
• Indiana Wesleyan went on top early in the third, but a late run from the Cougars pulled them within 2 points at 23-21. Joldersma and Marin Sanchez combined for the final two points to secure the sweep.
• Eva Joldersma had a match high 14 kills. Marissa Mullins added 13.
• Joldersma also led the team with 3 blocks.
• Cadee Notter led the way with 17 digs while Joldersma had 12.
• Abbigail Porter recorded 42 assists.
