GREENTOWN, Ind. - No. 17 Indiana Wesleyan women's tennis moved to 29-4 today with wins over Oakland City University and Indiana Tech on Senior Day. The morning match against Oakland City was won by forfeit. The afternoon match was scheduled to be played outdoors, but rain began to fall right after the ceremony honoring Seniors Mel Dveksler and
Kayla Dubuque. About 75 fans made the trek to Greentown for the match indoors.
The #7 ranked doubles pair of Bre Barger and Mel Dveksler made quick work of the doubles match winning 6-2. #12 ranked doubles team of
Emily Connolly and Sofia Munoz were upset by a strong team from IT. It all came down to Senior
Kayla Dubuque and her partner
Regan Mellinger for the doubles point. The IWU pair pulled it out in a tiebreaker to give the women a 1-0 lead.

Melanie Dveksler won her match 6-0, 1-6, 6-0 to give the Wildcats a 3-2 lead with two matches to go. #5
Emily Connolly came out firing in her 6-0, 7-5 clinching victory.
