MARION, Ind. - The Indiana Wesleyan baseball faced off against the No. 22 Warriors of Indiana Tech on Wednesday, falling 16-10. After falling behind 11-3 early, the Wildcats scored six runs in the bottom of the 4th to pull within two runs, but were unable to overcome the deficit as the Warriors survived the comeback bid.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

 

 

• Indiana Tech got the scoring started early, putting 4 runs across in 1st inning and 5 in the 3rd.
• Colby Jenkins brought Luke Roman across in the 3rd and MJ Stavola scored Jenkins and Lucas Goodin to get IWU on the board.
• Indiana Tech added 2 runs in 4th, extending their lead to 11-3.
• The Wildcats got 2 runs in the 4th off of a hit by pitch and a walk with bases loaded. Roman scored on a wild pitch and Stavola brought Goodin and Quinn Willard home on a single in the 4th inning.
• The Warriors scored 3 runs across the 6th and 7th innings pushing their lead to 16-9. 
• Stavola doubled in the 9th, scoring Colby Jenkins to bring the score to 16-10.
