The Wildcats won #3 doubles, lost #2 doubles, and it came down to a tiebreaker at #1 for the doubles point. The Holy Cross doubles team is ranked #4 in country, and IWU's #9-ranked team of

Melanie Dveksler were able to pull out the victory to secure the double point. The women then had to endure a two-hour delay before getting back on the court. Indiana Wesleyan won at #1, #3, and #4 to sweep the match. #25
Sofia Loren Munoz beat #15 Savvides in straight sets for a huge win for IWU.

They way we persevered in the first sets against great competition is a testament to how battle-tough we are. We swept a tough team and were able to help improve a lot players rankings. I am so proud of the character and fortitude of the women's team! Finishing after midnight made it my birthday, and it was a sweet present they provided!"
