OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Indiana Wesleyan men's tennis lost a tough 4-2 decision to #8 Lindsey Wilson on Saturday in the ITA NAIA National Indoor Championships. The Wildcats had three close doubles matches but could only win at #1 with
Trey Thixton and
Isaac Steiner. IWU fought hard to comeback in the singles.
Isaac Steiner won at #1 singles quickly followed by
Lennart Bengtsson winning at #3 singles for his first collegiate singles win. Lindsay Wilson won at #5 singles to tie the match 2-2. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, they lost at two and four singles in tough matches.

- "Lindsay Wilson is another tough top 10 team, and we battled well again today," said James Gleghorn, Head Tennis Coach. "We have to learn to win the tough matches in singles before we really take off as a team. With our new lineup, I believe we are a top 20 team and hope we can win enough matches in the next few months to earn an at-large birth."
- The Wildcats will finish the ITA Indoor Nationals tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. ET against Kansas Wesleyan.
