MARION, Ind. - No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball secured a win on Saturday after defeating Bethel University 80-76. Griffin Kliewer tallied 25 points to lead IWU to their sixth win of the season.

WHAT HAPPENED

• After a close start to the game, the IWU offense began to flow with 11 minutes on the clock and went on a 10-3 run to secure an 11-point lead to enter the second half.
• Staring on fire, Indiana Wesleyan hit four threes in two minutes to extend their lead to 21 points. 
• Bethel began to close the gap to five points with nine minutes to go after going on a 14-point run. 
• IWU was able to secure the victory in close fashion after defeating Bethel 80-74.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 19: The IWU offense moved the ball well with 19 assists on the day compared to Bethel's 12. 
• 56%: IWU was efficient in their shooting throughout most of the game, shooting 56% from the field and 38.5% from the three-point line.
