MARION, IND. - No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball reached twenty wins on Friday evening and picked up their eighth ranked win of the season with a 3-0 sweep of No. 13 Columbia College. The Wildcats came out on fire, dominating the first set and carrying that momentum into set two. IWU came from behind in set three to finish off the sweep.

MATCH VITALS

• The Wildcats had no problem in set one as they came out of the gate leading 16-7. They never looked back leading 20-10 near the end of the set, eventually winning 25-12
• Looking to use their momentum the Wildcats stormed out in the second set going up 7-0 right off the bad. They didn't slow down as they quickly maintained their 7 point advantage at 15-8 near the end of the set.They would finish off the second set 25-19.
• The Cougars did not back down in set three as they got out to a 6-2 lead and were still leading IWU at 13-12 near the middle of the third. The Wildcats made the comeback with a 7-3 run, taking a 19-15 lead. The Wildcats were able to hang on down the stretch, winning 25-17.
• Martina Demarchi led the team with 15 kills. Eva Joldersma added 12.
• Cadee Notter and Demarchi tallied 3 aces each.
• Cassie Gregory led the defense with 2 blocks.
• Abbigail Porter led the team with 42 assists
• Joldersma led the team with posted 12 digs, Porter and Demarchi posted 11 each..
