MARION, IND. - No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball remained unbeaten Saturday, picking up their 21st and 22nd wins of the year. Senior Martina Demarchi achieved an individual milestone with her 1000th career kill in the Wildcats second game of the day.

MATCH ONE VITALS

• The Wildcats came out on fire,  quickly going up 18-2 before easily putting the first set away 25-6
• Saint Francis battled in the second set trailing by only 3 at 13-10. However, the Wildcats dominated down the stretch, winning 25-12.
• IWU continued to dominate into the thrid set, taking a 12-2 lead and only allowing Saint Francis to score 7 more points, finishing the sweep with a 25-9 victory.
• Martina Demarchi led the team with 9 kills. Marissa Mullins (8) and Eva Joldersma (7) also had strong offensive performances for the Wildcats.
• Mullins recorded a career high 8 blocks. Joldersma and Abbigail Porter had 3 each.
• Abbigail Porter led the team with 34 assists.
• Cadee Notter tallied 23 digs, Demarchi added 11 and Porter recorded 8.

MATCH TWO VITALS

• Campbellsville came into the matchup with Indiana Wesleyan riding a 12 game winning streak.
• The Tigers and Wildcats battled in the first set with neither team finding an edge. IWU found their rhythm late in the set, winning 25-17.
• IWU stayed hot by opening set two with an 15-3 lead, and cruised to the finish for a 25-6 win.
• Campbellsville took an early lead in set three and battled to a 20-20 tie late in the set, but the Wildcats went on a 5-0 run to finish off their second sweep of the day.
• Eva Joldersma led the offense with 17 kills and Martina Demarchi added 11. With her second kill in set two Demarchi recorded the 1000th kill of her career.
• Joldersma posted 3 aces.
• Mullins tallied 6 blocks. Porter (4) and Demarchi (3) helped lead the defense.
• Abbigail Porter led the team with 39 assists.
• Joldersma led the team with 12 digs. Cadee Notter (10) and Demarchi (10) both finished with double digit digs.

MOATS PERSPECTIVE
