MARION, Ind. - No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan women's soccer found their eleventh win of the season after defeating Taylor University away from home. After going scoreless on both sides to conclude the first half, Ashley Townsend found her seventh goal of the season in the 51st minute after a back-and-forth possession switch between IWU and Taylor inside the box. IWU continues their three-game stint away from home and will travel to Mount Vernon Nazarene University on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

• A close first half ended with a 0-0 draw. 
• Ashley Townsend found the back of the net in the 51st minute after a back-and-forth inside the box from a corner kick by Mallory Krueger.

• 15: Senior Mallory Krueger collects her seventh assist of the season to secure 15 points in the season for the Wildcats.

• "I think both teams put up a really good fight today," said Ashley Townsend. "Taylor put up a heck of a game, but we are happy to get the result on the road. Our team battled to the very end. It was an entire team effort for 90 minutes, which helped us to get the result. All glory to God for the dub! We are excited to get ready for the next game and keep improving in conference."
