NO. 9 WOMEN’S SOCCER SECURES TENTH WIN AGAINST BETHEL

MARION, Ind. - No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan women's soccer remained triumphant at home with a win against Bethel University on Wednesday night. The first goal from the Wildcats struck in the 44th minute with a corner kick finish from junior Taylor Archbold, assisted by junior Elisha Strawser. After a close first half ending at 1-0, the Wildcats finished strong with a deep free kick from senior Mallory Krueger in the 57th minute and a wonderfully worked attack to find senior Courtney Cockrum in the 61st minute. The final whistle saw the game with a final score of 3-0. IWU improve to 4-0-1 in Crossroads League play and are tied for 1st in the standings. They will hit the road to face rival Taylor University on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
