MARION, Ind. - No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan men's tennis opened the 2022 fall season on Thursday evening at Sutter Tennis Center against DePauw University.  The Wildcats earned the initial doubles point but found themselves tied at 3-3 in singles play. Trey Thixton would not be fazed by the pressure and produced a clutch second-set tiebreaker to take the match, 4-3.

• "The men played an unbelievable match tonight. Alex Serwatka played incredibly well today, winning in singles and doubles. He really showed senior leadership. Isaac Steiner showed maturity and really kept the team focused and made sure we represented Christ and IWU well. I am so proud of Trey and how handled the pressure of everyone watching the crucial match.  He put in so much work in the last few weeks to be prepared to win. Karl Worth was invaluable as a student coach and without him, I don't know if we would have won today."
