MARION, Ind. - It was a big day at Wildcat Field as head coach
Rich Benjamin earned his 500th career win in a sweep versus Marian University on Friday. Benjamin's 500 career wins are split between Judson University(294), where he coached from 2008 to 2015, and Indiana Wesleyan(206). The Wildcats also broke the team's single-season home run record which was previously set at 69 in 2019. IWU now has 75 home runs this season led by
Evan Salmon with 21, and
Lucas Goodin and
Denver Blinn with 14 each. The Wildcats swept Marian winning game one 9-2 and game two 11-3.

- Denver Blinn had a big day, knocking in the Wildcat's first five runs with a pair of home runs. He finished with six RBIs.
- Hunter Hoffman had another outstanding performance. He went eight innings, gave up just two runs, and struck out eight.
- MJ Stavola added two hits including a two-run blast in the sixth inning, his third home run this year.
- Zach Rabe and Lucas Goodin both added two hits.

- After going down two early in the second, IWU put up 10 runs over the next two innings.
- Zach Rabe got things going with a two-run homer, he has eight home runs on the season.
- Lucas Goodin and Denver Blinn both had three-run homers, they're tied for second on the team with 14 each.
- Bryce Ginder added a hit, he has a hit in eight of the last nine games.
- Ethan Dixon earned the win. He threw four and two-thirds innings and gave up just two earned runs.
