HOWELL, Mich. - Indiana Wesleyan got the sweep over Cleary University in non-conference action on Tuesday. The Wildcats put up eight runs in the second inning of game one and held on for a 10-7 victory. Four Wildcats combined to get the shutout in game two. IWU took the game 8-0.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS

 

• The Wildcats put up eight runs in the second inning including a three-run home run from Zach Rabe. Rabe finished with two hits in the game. 
• Both MJ Stavola and Luke Roman had a triple in the game. Roman finished with two RBIs and Stavola added one. 
• The Wildcats combined for seven extra-base hits in the game, including two doubles from Evan Salmon, and a double each for Denver Blinn and Blake Storr. 
• Colby Jenkins reached base four times with two hits and two walks. He also scored two runs.

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS

 

• Four Wildcat pitchers combined to get the shutout. Ethan Dixon earned the win by going five innings and giving up just five hits. 
• Darien Pugh had two hits including a double and also scored two runs. That's the second time Pugh has had a multi-hit game this season. 
• Lucas Goodin, Evan Salmon, and Zach Rabe all had two hits in the contest. Each also added an RBI, Rabe had two. 
• Colby Jenkins had a hit, he has a hit in each of the last six games and in 10 of the last 11.

• IWU continues Crossroads League action this weekend with a four-game series against Goshen College. Game one is set for Friday at 1 p.m.
