MARION, Ind. - No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan softball won big on home opener double header defeating Manchester 11-0 and 11-2. Wildcats were able to sneak in a home double header before hitting the road for their spring break trip in Kississimee, Florida.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS

 

• Wildcats put up nine runs in the first inning.
• Manchester mustered up one hit to Wildcats 11.
• Jennah Yost, Chloe Tragesser, Kamryn Buck, and Sadie Harding each collected two runs.
• Tragesser recorded two of nine Wildcat RBIs.
• Danielle Munn and Emma Etter-Cox recorded seven strikeouts.

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS

 

• IWU recorded another inning high with eight runs in the second.
• Wildcats recorded 11 RBIs matching season-high recorded at Oakland City on February 28.
• Miranda Wehrle and Sadie Harding recorded two of the team's 12 hits.
• Alyssa Wagner and Natalee McNeil combined for eight strikeouts.
