MARION, Ind. - No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan softball split in first round of conference play this afternoon. Wildcats dropped game one to Taylor 7-5 and bounced back with a 3-0 win to secure the split.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS

 

• Taylor and IWU each collected six hits.
• Makenna Waddell led the Wildcats with two of the team's four RBIs.
• Elisa Koshy collected her fifth homerun on the year.
• Danielle Munn and Reagan Radke collectively struck out eight.

• All three runs came in the second inning for the Wildcats.

• Wildcats will face another conference opponent, Goshen College, at Wildcat field tomorrow. The double header is scheduled to start at 5pm.
