KISSISSIMEE, Fla. - No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan softball ended their Florida trip with wins over Cornerstone University and Lourdes University. Wildcats defeated Cornerstone 9-0 and Lourdes 7-2.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS

 

• Wildcats got on the board with a homerun from Elisa Koshy in the second inning.
• IWU strung together three runs in each the fourth and the sixth inning and finished the seventh inning with two.
• Wildcats outhit the Golden Eagles 10-2 and only posted one strike out.
• Koshy recorded two of the team's six RBIs.
• Alyssa Wagner led the Wildcats on the mound striking out nine Golden Eagles in six innings.

• Opponent: Lourdes University
• Matchup: IWU 13-3 I LU 2-4
• Result: IWU defeats Lordes 7-2

  

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS

 

• Wildcats got up 6-0 before letting in two Gray Wolf runs in the fourth inning.
• Jennah Yost collected two runs for the Wildcats with two hits.
• Four RBIs were collected by the Wildcats one a piece from Mackenzie Swango, Sadie Harding, Koshy, and Makenna Pace.
• Reagen Radke, Emma Etter-Cox , and Aubrey Gearhart shared time on the mound posting a collective nine strikeouts.

  

LOOKING AHEAD

 

• Wildcats open conference play on Tuesday, March 14 hosting a double header against Taylor University. First pitch is scheduled for 4pm.
