MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan Baseball dropped the first two games in a four game series against Bethel University on Thursday. The Wildcats couldn't get anything going offensively in the first game, collecting just four hits as the Pilots won 11-0. IWU held a 3-0 lead going into the 7th in game two, but the Pilots poured in seven runs in the inning and took the game 7-3.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS

 

• IWU was held to just four hits in the game and had just five base runners in the game. 
• Denver Blinn collected two hits, he sits at 24 hits on the season, which is third on the team. 
• Zach Rabe and Jeff Morton were responsible for the other Wildcat hits, both singles. 
   

 

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS

 

• The Wildcats jumped in front in game two. Scoring a run in the 3rd and two in the 4th before surrendering the lead in the final inning. 
• Blinn continued his good day at the plate adding two more hits, an RBI, and a run scored. 
• Rabe and Morton also added another hit each, Rabe scored a run and Morton contributed an RBI.
• Lucas Goodin had two hits, which puts his season total at 29. 
• Jacob Boint threw five scoreless innings and gave up just three hits while striking out two.
