MARION, Ind. - IWU baseball swept Bethel University in a doubleheader on Monday. Pitching was the key for the Wildcats as IWU's pitchers combined to give up just three runs and struck out 26 on the day. The Wildcats trailed by two heading into the bottom of the 9th in game one, but a
Lucas Goodin home run put the Wildcats on the board and a Bethel error tied the game before Goodin walked things off with a home run in the very next inning. The Pilots grabbed the lead to start game two as well, but the Wildcats poured in six unanswered to take the game 6-1.
