- Wildcats jumped out to the quickest start of the season connecting on 10 points in the first two minutes of play, finishing with the highest first quarter outpouring thus far this season leading 29-8.
- The second quarter was sloppy with the teams combining for 12 turnovers. IWU led 29-26 at the break.
- Foresters pulled within three during the third quarter with 6:10 to go before Wildcats responded with 23 unanswered points.
