OAKLAND CITY, Ind. – No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan softball got their first sweep of the season defeating Oakland City 7-2 and 14-1.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS

 

• Wildcats mustered 12 hits led by two apiece from Jennah Yost, Kamryn Buck, and Zoe Fountain.
• Chloe Tragesser and Buck each collected 2 RBIs
• Buck opened up the scoring columns with a homered in the second inning.
• Emma Etter-Cox and Alyssa Wagner combined at the mound for nine strikeouts.

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS

 

• Wildcats scored in the first three innings before exploding in the fifth inning for five more runs.
• Tragesser and Elisa Koshy each connected on four RBIs.
• Koshy blasted two homers on back-to-back attempts at the plate.
• IWU posted 14 hits.
• Danielle Munn and Alayna Thomas split time at the mound giving up just two hits.
