KOKOMO, Ind. - No. 15 Indiana Wesleyan split a two-game set with the Warriors of Indiana Tech on Monday, Feb. 21. IWU led early in game one but went scoreless after the third inning, dropping the game 4-3. Wildcats had a similar start in game two, jumping out to a 6-0 lead, but this time held on taking the game 6-3. Both games went seven innings.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS

 

• Darien Pugh got things started early with a lead-off home run. 
• Denver Blinn added two hits, including a two-run bomb in the third. 
• Hunter Hoffman gave up just two runs in five innings of work, dealing eight strikeouts. 

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS

 

• Pugh continued his good day at the plate, adding another home run and reaching base three times. 
• Blinn, Colby Jenkins, and Evan Salmon all contributed RBI's in a four-run third inning.
• Zach Rabe put up two hits, while MJ Stavola added a double on the day. 
• Drue Young got the save, striking out five and allowing just one hit in his two and a third innings of work.

• "It was good to see two national tournament teams on the field in February. We put together some at-bats throughout the day, got quality starts from Hoffman and Engelkes.
