GOSHEN, Ind. - No. 11 Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball dropped a 65-51 decision to Goshen College, ending a 14-game win streak against the Maple Leafs.

WHAT HAPPENED

 

• Slow start saw the Wildcats shoot 14.3% from the field in the first quarter connecting on only two field goals and four free throws.
• Second quarter took three minutes of play before a Kelli Damman layup to open up the scoring column. IWU continued to struggle to connect on the floor trailing 28-21 at the break.
• Wildcats gained a bit of momentum towards the end of the third quarter, forcing back-to-back full court violations and a Jade Nutley three ball to pull within 11, the closest margin in the second half.
• IWU dug themselves into a hole they couldn't claw their way out of ultimately dropping 65-51.
