MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.. - No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan ended St. Thomas 14-0 start to the 2022-23 season Thursday, in a 73-66 come-from-behind win in Florida. IWU was on fire in the fourth quarter, shooting 58% from the floor while forcing five crucial turnovers to tame the Bobcats and end their perfect start.

WHAT HAPPENED

• IWU continued to struggle offensively in Florida, shooting 30% from the field in the first half, putting them down eight at the break. 
• Indiana Wesleyan cut the lead to one with 4:24 left on a Jade Nutley reverse layup. After a STU bucket, IWU would cut the lead to one again on the next possession, when Nuttley found Jordan Reid for the reverse layup.
• Kelli Dammon would find Reid on the next play for an easy layup, and a Bobcats timeout was called with 2:16 left in the contest. It was IWU's first lead of the game. 
• St. Thomas would turn the ball over on three straight possession, allowing IWU to go on a 6-0 run to end the game. 
• The Bobcats led for all but 2:56 of the entire contest.
• The Wildcats shot 39% from the floor, but exploded in the fourth quarter shooting 58%.
