MARION, IND. - No. 18 Indiana Wesleyan volleyball got off to a fast start on Wednesday night. The Wildcats won the first two sets, before Marian answered back, winning three straight. The loss knocks Indiana Wesleyan out of the Crossroads League Tournament, Marian and Taylor will battle each other for the Crossroads League Tournament Championship.

MATCH VITALS

• The Wildcats got off to a fast start, winning set one 25-16.
• A 7-0 run midway through the second set pushed IWU to a 15-8 lead, as they took the set 25-15.
• It was all Marian early in the third set as the Knights jumped out to a 18-8 lead. IWU tried to rally late, pulling within 6 points at 24-18 but the Knights held on, winning the set 25-18.
• The Wildcats were in position to take the match leading 21-15 in the fourth set. Marian scored 5 straight points to take a 23-22 lead and outlasted IWU to win the set 26-24.
• After falling behind 9-7 in the fifth set, Marian would go on an 8-1 run to seal the comeback victory.
• Eva Joldersma led the offense for the Wildcats with 26 kills.
• Cassie Gregory totaled 58 assists.
• Ally Barkhaus posted 23 digs.
