MARION, Ind. – No. 18 volleyball came up short against Rocky Mountain College in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round on Saturday. The Battlin' Bears took the match 3-0 winning 25-19, 25-19, and 25-17. The Wildcats conclude their season with an overall record of 24-8, 14-4 in the Crossroads League, and a second place finish in the conference.

• Rocky Mountain went on an 11-1 run to grab a commanding 23-15 lead as they took the first set.
• The Wildcats couldn't turn things around in set two, falling behind 22-13 before an IWU run cut the deficit to five.
• The Battlin' Bears took all the momentum into the third set, taking a 19-8 lead as they knocked off the Wildcats.
• IWU committed 23 errors while Rocky Mountain only had 9.
• Victoria Johnson capped off her Indiana Wesleyan career with a team high 11 kills.
• Ally Barkhaus finished her career by leading the team with 20 digs.
• Abbigail Porter led the team with 21 assists.
• Eva Joldersma finished her stellar freshman campaign with 528 kills, good for 3rd all time in a single season.
