Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

WOMEN'S SOCCER TOO MUCH FOR BETHEL

MARION, Ind. - No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan women's soccer continued their scoring frenzy Wednesday in League play, sinking the Pilots of Bethel University 6-0. IWU moved to 2-0 in League play and now has 11 goals in their first two matches, while having surrendered none. IWU has won 13 of their last 15 over Bethel. 


INSIDE THE BOX
  • IWU collected their sixth shutout of the season, one more than they had last season. 
  • Jackie Norris continues to pile on the goals, collecting her ninth and tenth of the season.  
  • Sydney Brown collected her first game-winner of the season, while pushing her goal total in 2021 to five. She also collected her 10th assist of the season on Sarah Foulk's goal. 


SEIFFERT PERSPECTIVE
  • It was good to get another 3 points in League play today. The girls fought hard for each other in a pretty physical match. So we will learn from this one, and will get back on the training field tomorrow to prepare for yet another strong league opponent on the road this weekend.


NEXT TIME OUT
  • IWU heads to Taylor University on Saturday for a 7 p.m. start.
