MARION, Ind. – The Indiana Wesleyan baseball team continued its hot streak Tuesday afternoon by posting an 11-3 win against Aquinas College.

INSIDE THE BOX

• Indiana Wesleyan jumped out to an 8-0 lead after three innings and never looked back in the 11-3 victory.
• Denver Blinn led the way with three hits, three RBI and three runs scored. Colby Jenkins drove in three while Nick Coy and Bryce Ginder each drove in two.
• Jenkins, Caleb Brenczweski and Ginder each scored twice.
• Parker Johnson, Janier Puente, Gabe Fleace and Isaiah Rivera combined to give up just four hits and allowed just two earned runs.
• Blinn got things going with a triple to right center field, scoring MJ Stavola. Jenkins belted a two-run homer to push it to 3-0 in the first.
• Coy's double in the second plated Blinn and Jenkins, making it 5-0. Blinn's double in the third scored Ginder. Jenkins recorded a sacrifice fly, pushing the margin to 8-0.
• Aquinas scored a run in the fourth before IWU scored its final three runs of the contest in the bottom of the stanza.

NEARLY AS MANY

• IWU nearly posted as many runs as they had hits Tuesday afternoon. The Wildcats scored 11 runs on 12 hits.

CRAZY EIGHTS

• The Wildcats had eight student-athletes reach safely in the lineup – either by hit or walk. Blinn reached base four times (three hits and a walk) to lead the way.

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Wildcats take the field again Friday when they play at Bethel. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m.
