GOSHEN, Ind. - No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball junior Seth Maxwell exploded Wednesday, pouring in 33 points on 13-of-15 shooting and a perfect 7-of-7 from the line. The Wildcats collected their 12th, 100-point scoring appearance this season, brushing off the Maple Leafs, 103-51. 


Mangas nearly collected his first career triple-double, posting a 20 point, 11 assist, 9 rebound stat line. The win also secured a share of the Crossroads League Regular Season Championship, giving IWU four straight.

• Indiana Wesleyan built a 26-point lead in the first half, matching what Goshen College scored as a team combined.
• Seth Maxwell was perfect in the first half, shooting 9-of-9 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the line for 22 points. 
• As a squad, the red and gray knocked down 21 shots for 52 points in the first half, posting a 60% shooting percentage from the field. Goshen accounted for just ten made shots, shooting 27% from the field. 
• IWU's lead of 26 points at the half, matching the women's team against Goshen at home tonight, also leading by 26 at the half.
• Mangas' 11 assists are the most in a game this season, while the team's 12 steals are the most since they snatched 18 against Taylor on December 9, 2020. 
• IWU's 27 assists is one shy of their season-high. It's the second time this season they have dished out 27 dimes in a game.
