NO. 1 @IWUHOOPS MAKES IT 21 STRAIGHT OVER TAYLOR, SEMIFINALS NEXT FOR WILDCATS

MARION, Ind. - No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball collected their 21st straight win over County foe Taylor University Wednesday night 74-66. It's just the ninth time this season Men's Basketball has collected a win by ten or fewer points.

WHAT WENT DOWN
  • IWU out rebounded Taylor by 15, the most over their opponent in six games.
  • Tonight was just the fourth time this season the Wildcats collected less assists then their opponent.
  • 42 of IWU's 74 points came from the paint while TU scored 18 paint points. 


AGAINST TAYLOR THIS SEASON
  • Mangas averaged 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists in just 81 minutes of work. 
  • IWU outscored Taylor 271-176, averaging 90 points when playing the Trojans. 
  • Indiana Wesleyan was red hot from the floor, shooting 57% while Taylor University mustered 39%. When shooting the deep ball, IWU shot 27-of-59 for 46% while TU shot 26% on 76 attempts.
