THE GAME
  • IWU returns home to host the high-powered No. 6 Marian University Knights on Saturday. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. with tickets being sold at IWUWildcats.com/Tickets. The Wildcats have never beaten the Knights but came close in 2019, giving it one last-ditch effort, but a fumble would lead to six points for the Knights with time expiring.


WHO ARE THE KNIGHTS
  • The Knights started their program back in 2007-08 and have won two NAIA National Championships (2012, 2015). They boast an overall program record of 126-42. 
  • Additionally, they have claimed six MSFA Mideast League titles and nine NAIA FCS appearances, tallying a record of 18-7 in postseason play.
  • MU is led by Head Coach Mark Henninger who in eight seasons at the helm holds an overall record of 74-18.
  • Logan Blake anchored the defense as a freshman and received AFCA NAIA All-America Honorable Mention honors. He has 17.0 tackles on the season and two sacks. The team is led in tackles by Sir'Zion Dance with 26.
  • On the offensive side of the ball, the Knights have rushed for over 1,000 yards through five games and are led by Daylen Taylor, who averages 106 a game. 
  • Zach Bundalo starts at quarterback and has 12 touchdowns so far this season, with his main target in the air Johnny William collecting seven of those.

  • Fans still needing tickets are encouraged to visit IWUWildcats.com/Tickets before the game to avoid the long ticket lines.
  • All tickets are now digital and sales made inside and outside of Wildcat stadium will need to be made using a debit or credit card as cash is no longer accepted.
