MARION, Ind. - No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball collected their SIXTH Top-25 win Saturday, dropping League foe No. 8 Marian University, 89-82. It's IWU's eighth win in ten tries over the Knights.
The Wildcats move to 21-1 on the season, the only team in the NAIA with 20 or wins and only one loss. The next closest win total in the NAIA is Morningside (Iowa), who has 17 wins and just two losses.

- MU went on a 6-0 run to start the second half forcing an IWU timeout.
- With 2:50 left in the contest, Toledo transfer Dylan Alderson came away with his only steal of the game, sealing the contest for IWU after an emphatic and-one layup.
- Alderson wouldn't stop there, tipping out the missed Mangas jumper with .52 left in the contest, giving IWU another 30-second clock up five. The added life gave Mangas another jumper, good for his 26th point of the game.
- Marian's Cameron Wolter continued to shine, posting a game-high 33 points.
- At the half, IWU had coughed it up ten times and finished the game with 15 turnovers.
