INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - For the sixth straight year the Indiana Wesleyan Women's tennis team claimed the Crossroads League regular season title with an 8-0 start to the Fall season. IWU claimed two 7-0 victories over Grace and Huntington on Wednesday to solidify the championship.

COACH SHIGLEY PERSPECTIVE

• "Grace has a solid women's team this year with a very good record. However, our girls were prepared and played wel this morning. Our toughest match was at the four singles spot with Ellie Snider getting a great win at 6-4, 6-3 against a solid opponent from Grace."
• "Huntington is a bit down this year and our girls came ready to defend the Crossroads League regular season title. None of the matches were very competitive with the exception of Lena Golz at the two singles spot. Lena played a flawless third set tiebreaker to win 10-2 in the third set."
• "This makes the 28th time in 29 years that the IWU Women's tennis team has won the Crossroads League regular season title and six years in a row."

• The team prepares for the conference tournament with three non-conferences matches beginning with IU-Kokomo and IU-South East on Friday and Judson on Saturday all at Sutter Tennis Center.
