#17 Men's Tennis Tops IU East

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. – No. 17 Men’s Tennis shutout Indiana University East 7-0 Friday morning. The Wildcats were able to sweep the doubles point in straight sets to begin the match. They continued their momentum into singles only losing one set at number three singles, which Isaac Steiner overcome to win the point. The Wildcats head to Arizona for their Spring Break trip with a 22-1 record.

COACH SHIGLEY PERSPECTIVE

  • It was another strong performance by our men's team as we took on upstart IU East. IU East has some very talented players and have been giving teams stiff competition all spring. They will only get better throughout the spring and have a shot at winning their conference at the end of April. However, today we were just too good up and down the lineup!

 

UP NEXT

  • The Wildcats head to Arizona for the Spring Break trip. The first match of the week will be against #22 Arizona Christian on February 28 at 4:00 PM. The match will take place at Paseo Racquet Club in Glendale, Ariz.
