@IWU_WBB SURVIVES AT GOSHEN IN OVERTIME

MARION, Ind. –  Indiana Wesleyan women's basketball needed extra clock Wednesday to capture their first Crossroads League win of the season, downing Goshen Colege 81-70 in overtime.


IWU moves to 4-1 on the season, and 1-0 in Crossroads League play.


INSIDE THE BOX
  • IWU struggled from deep, shooing 29% on 7-of-24 shooting, their second-worst shooting percentage from three this season.
  • Indiana Wesleyan attempted a season-high 29 free throws, making all but seven.
  • IWU grabbed a season-high 42 rebounds, eight more than GC grabbed.
  • The Wildcats mustered just 11 assists on 26 made baskets, while Goshen dished 20 assists out on 26 made baskets.
