@IWUSOCCER POSTS FIFTH SHUTOUT OF SEASON

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan women's soccer moved to 6-0-2 on the season Saturday, downing the University of Saint Francis, 2-0. 

INSIDE THE BOX
  • Lauren Turner led the Wildcats with three shots, while IWU as a team fired off 14 shots, 11 on frame.
  • Hannah Adams netted her first career goal Saturday.
  • USF musterd just four shots in the contest.
  • The Wildcats dominated the corners, taking nine total while the Cougars took one.

SEIFFERT PERSPECTIVE
  • It was good to get out and compete today on the road. It was not quite up to our standard of play, but we did move the ball well and created some excellent looks. We just couldn't put the final pass or final shot into the back of the net.
  • We are looking forward to getting back to the training grounds to get better this week!

NEXT TIME OUT
  • IWU returns home, hosting the 2020 NAIA National Championship Runner-up and 2020 Crossroads League Tournament Champions Marion University.
  • The Knights enter the contest with a perfect 8-0 record, while tallying 38 goals and only allowing two.
