MARION, Ind. – No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan University women’s tennis continued their undefeated start to the season with two victories on Saturday against Goshen College and Aquinas College. Maddie Bemisderfer led the way from the third singles spot winning 24 out of 27 games. These two victories for the Wildcats build their momentum in the new season as they are tied with Grace for first place in the Crossroads League. With their victories the Wildcats move to 4-0 in league play and 6-0 on the season.

• “It was a beautiful day for tennis and our ladies played extremely well. We only lost 4 games in 9 matches, and Goshen is much improved from last year. It was a great start to our day!”

On Match #2 vs. Aquinas

• “We continued our momentum from the morning match into the match with Aquinas. There were some really good games as Aquinas played well, but we played better and came away with a victory. The women’s team had two really nice wins today.
