COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…
- On Match #1 vs. St. Francis
“The guys played very solid tennis today vs. St. Francis. We were able to play 10 guys in the lineup today. ‘This is one of the luxuries of having such a deep team. Ale, Trey, and Jason stepped up into the lineup and played phenomenal tennis. The three of them only lost three games in three matches.”
- On Match #2 vs. Northwestern Ohio
“UNOH always as a great team and this year they are loaded again. We knew this was going to be one of our toughest matches of the early season. Our men came out on fire in doubles. It was some of the best doubles play I have seen at IWU…phenomenal tennis. UNOH made it very interesting in singles, but Eli, Isaac, Mariano, and Riley all won in straight sets to bring home the 5-2 victory! Great win for our men’s program!!!
