COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…
“The girls team vs. William Woods was super competitive in doubles, but we were on the losing end of two 9-7 matches. We were deflated and came out flat in singles to lose 5-1 vs. the No. 6 team in the nation. Alex Mella at No. 2 was our lone point as she played an incredible match.”

COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…
“I really like how our girls responded in the afternoon to beat Lindsey Wilson 5-0, the No. 4 team in the nation. We completely dominated play right from the start and never looked back. This is the highest ranked team we have beat in program history. This is what are girls are capable of doing.”
“Today was a day to celebrate our seniors. We have three seniors Alex Mella, Marissa Klein, and Rachel Baker. I can’t say enough about their leadership and character. This was my first recruiting class and so they are super special to my heart. Alex Mella will graduate with having the most doubles wins. Marissa Klein will have the second most wins in singles in program history. This class has more wins in the last four years than any tennis program at any division in the country. Now, that is an accomplishment!”
