COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…
“The guys played with tremendous courage and heart but came up just short losing 5-4 to a very good and deep Lewis-Clark State team. We started strong in doubles with a 2-1 lead. We knew they were deep in singles and I just felt like we needed to win all three doubles points. Espo and Eli played well in singles and got us two points, but could not find another point today. The wind was certainly an issue today and felt like Lewis-Clark State made better adjustments than we did in dealing with the wind. We will come back tomorrow and play hard.”
