COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…
“It was a tough match vs. a very good team from DePauw. We dug ourselves into a huge hold by being down 3-0 after doubles. We made a valiant effort of a comeback in singles as Lena and Alex won their matches, Marissa was about to win her math, and we think Lizzie would have won her match. We just needed one more point but simply could not find it today. We have to do a better job with our doubles play. We will learn some valuable lessons from this loss and hopefully be better off for it in the long run.”
