COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…

On the Aquinas match…
“It was good to see the men get their first win of the spring against a scrappy team from Aquinas. The top three singles positions were all close, but we were able to win them all. It’s good to be on the winning side of close matches. Solid win for our men’s team.”

On the Cornerstone match…
“This was our third match within 24 hours. The guys are tired but they didn’t let that effect their play as they dominated Cornerstone. Grant Yager and Eli Steiner are really jelling together in this early spring season at No. 1 doubles. Parker Kalis got the win at No. 6 singles 6-0, 6-0. The guys look good in this young season. It will be a tough match vs. Davenport tomorrow.”
