COACH SHIGLEY PERSPECTIVE
- “This is the 28th year in a row that we have won the Crossroads League Tournament Championship. We felt like we were very vulnerable this year after losing our number 1 player, Lizzie Bauss to an injury. With Lizzie Bauss out with injury, every girl in the lineup rose to the occasion and elevated their game to another level. Beating a very good Marian team 4-0 was incredible tonight. Great victory for our girls. We are so proud of our girls and how they conducted themselves on the court! We are honored to represent the Crossroads League and IWU at the National Tournament again this year! This win allows us to simply focus on getting better for the National Tournament in May.”
