COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…
“The first match following the ITA Tournament is always tough. You are simply exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally. Add that to a determined, scrappy Grace team and it could be a formula for trouble. However, our guys responded well and didn’t let their focus drift. We knew their No. 1 and No. 2 players were extremely good. Eli and Diego had their hands full but were able to come out on the winning side. Overall, I am very pleased with both our effort and performance.”
