MOBILE, Ala. – Indiana Wesleyan University men’s tennis and Campbellsville (Ky.) battled on Thursday for a spot in the NCCAA national championship match. Campbellsville finished with a 5-1 win in the national semifinals to end the Wildcats run through the tournament.

• “Tough match today vs. a very good and deep Campbellsville team. We got our only point at No. 1 doubles but had significant opportunities to win at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 singles and No. 3 doubles. We were right there with Campbellsville, we just needed a few breaks to pull off the upset. Really proud of the guys and their fight the entire tournament. As freshmen, Eli and Grant had an amazing tournament going undefeated at No. 1 doubles. Eli also went undefeated at singles to go 7-0 for the tournament.”

• Indiana Wesleyan remains in Mobile, Alabama for next week’s NAIA National Championship. IWU opens the tournament at 2:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 15 in a First Round match vs. No. 10 Arizona Christian.
