Northwestern Ohio Edges Women's Tennis in Top-10 Dual

MARION, Ind. – No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan University and No. 8 Northwestern Ohio battled in a marathon match featuring top-10 teams on Thursday. Northwestern Ohio pulled out a 5-3 win as Indiana Wesleyan is now 25-4 on the season.

COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…

  • “The girls had a four and a half hour battle with Northwestern Ohio tonight. They are a very good team. We just came up a couple points short of winning that match. I thought we played better tonight than we did last weekend. At this point in the season, we need to keep improving every match. We did that today and will get better tomorrow.”


UP NEXT

  • Indiana Wesleyan has adjusted the weekend schedule. IWU hosts Davenport (Mich.) at 5 p.m. on Friday and has canceled the Saturday match with Grand Valley State (Mich.).
