Women's Tennis Falls to Bellarmine

GREENTOWN, Ind. – No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan University women’s tennis dropped their second straight match with an 8-1 loss to NCAA DII Bellarmine (Ky.). The match was played indoors at the Howard County Tennis Center.

COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…

  • “This match showed how much we are physically hurting right now. We had to sit our No. 3 and No. 4 players; we had another girl who tried to play but had to retire in the first set, and another player who can hardly lift her arm above her head. We need to get physically healthy. These kinds of injuries also affect the mind. Once we get healthy, I know the girls will bounce back and finish the season strong.”
