COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…
- “The bottom of our lineup continues to shine. Most teams just don’t have the depth to compete with our girls. However, we have to get the top of our lineup healthy. Lizzie, Alex, and Tay all played so well at the ITA Tournament, but their bodies have crashed since then. They are struggling with injuries and sickness. Right now, they are doing just enough to win, we have to get them healthy to make a run through the league tournament.”
UP NEXT FOR WOMEN’S TENNIS
- Indiana Wesleyan plays host to two teams on Saturday at the Sutter Tennis Center. IWU opens with Georgetown (Ky.) at 9 a.m. and then plays Grace (Ind.) at 2 p.m. They are the final two regular season matches left this fall.
Indiana Wesleyan would also like to recognize Marion General Hospital, the official sponsor of the IWU-TU rivalry.
