Women?s Tennis Finishes Tuesday Play with Split

AZUSA, Calif. -- No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan University women’s tennis dropped a 5-1 decision on Tuesday to NCAA DII No. 25 Azusa Pacific (Calif.) in Azusa, California. It was the second match of the day and fourth in the last two days for the Wildcats as they continue their Spring Break trip in California.

  • “With four matches in two days the girls are exhausted. We simply ran out of gas against a very good team from Azusa. We are hoping these types of days will help us mentally and physically when we get to the nationals tournament at the end of the year.”

     

UP NEXT FOR WOMEN’S TENNIS

  • Indiana Wesleyan will take Wednesday off before returning to action on Thursday for a pair of match in San Diego. IWU battles No. 18 Arizona Christian and No. 13 San Diego Christian (Calif.).
